Dr. Charlene Chu

Dr. Charlene Chu was born in Taiwan, grew up in Vancouver and is bilingual in English and Mandarin.  She completed her Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Microbiology and Immunology, at the University of British Columbia in 2002.  In 2006, Dr. Chu obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from State University of New York, College of Optometry in United States. She has been practicing Optometry, diagnosing and treating ocular diseases since.  Dr. Chu believes in providing the best care for all of her patients, affirming her patients’ interests are always her priority and practicing with compassion.

In her spare time, Dr. Chu enjoys spending time with her husband and their young daughter.  They love doing all kinds of outdoor activities that beautiful British Columbia could provide such as hiking, biking, skiing and camping.
